So I was playing a round of golf with a friend of mine, and were talking films at one point. So I brought up Star wars of course, and he told me that the whole SW craze had gone by him completely. He had never seen one single episode.

So here's about the only person on the planet who now can watch episode 1 to 6 for the first time in the 'right' order. I wonder if he'll look at it in a different way, with big surprises in the plot and everything, or inconsistencies that I don't see in the storyline.

Yeah, since he's not interested in the genre at all, he probably will fall asleep during episode 1, or at least be annoyed by the 'home alone' feel of it.

Me neighbor hasn't seen 1 either. I said the same thing to her and then realized that I couldn't let her start at 1. So I told her she has to start at 4 and I let her borrow my DVDs.

When he sees it he totally won't be shocked that Vader is Luke's dad.

He'll be like "Well duh"

He'll be like "Well duh" yes, I was looking for exactely those plot twists that don't make sense while watching it from 1 to 6. Watching Luke eye Leia will probably be very offsetting as well. :D
