Ebay is weird (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5565804415)

With eBay people reward good ideas by bidding high. I'm not too sure whether someone really just wanted the peanut.

You see it a lot. Someone comes along with an original idea and markets it well and people usually pay a bit for it.

I watched a REALLY SHINEY 2P sell for 1 a few days ago.

It's e-bay users that are nuts.

I actually run my own ebay shop.

Every few weeks I spend a morning going to different car boot sales and picking up cheap computer games then I sell them on ebay. Make quite a bit of money for absolutely no effort.

I keep a paypal account and every few months buy a treat for the baby or we go on holiday.

"absolutely no effort"

So you go round car boot sales which takes a morning, list them all on e-bay, deal with all the stupid questions about your listings, post out all the games when you are done etc.

And that's no effort?

How much do you earn at it and how long do you actually spend on e-bay stuff?

I use a program called turbo lister so I can list about 30 items per hour. I spend about 1 on each game and usually sell for 3-30 depending on the game.

I'd say in total it takes:

4 Hours Buying
2 Hours Listing
2 Hours Packing/Posting

If I spend 30 I expect to make at least 100.

A few months ago I used to do this every week and I was making around 400 a month just in profit and tax free :D

Now I do it once a month.

Sounds like effort to me.

Ok, well 8 hours makes it handily comparable to a working day. :)

Is that 100 profit?

Sounds like much harder work than my actual job! :)

You're so horribly overpayed, aren't you? :p

Also, that peanut looks like a turd in the pics.

I quite enjoy it actually, apart from some of the twats that buy from you and have all kind of ludicrous expectations. I like checking the selling status whilst I'm at work. It's just something to pass the day.
