There are a million web-cams for Sheffield but not a single one for Reading. What type of boring place is Reading if it doesn't even merit a web-cam? It really must be filled with accountants. :gasmaske:

All the Sheffield ones are one company though. I wonder if the Orpington one is Dauphin's local newsagent? And I wonder if I can be bothered to go wave at the Cambridge one.

The rotter-cam at least is a proper video feed showing cars driving and people walking. That's much better then the 1 still shot per minute stuff.

That's a New Zealand site? It's not our Reading anyway.

The second one is though. That's the station on the left hand side.

it looks quite the metropolis in that picture. In fact the building it is based in is one of the tallest in town, used to belong to Foster Wheeler.

My dad told me he windowcleaned it once back in the day, and he has no head for heights, i don't think he enjoyed it.

it's FRIKADELLEN Sure, just type in google frikadel and after that frikandel. See what gets the most hits.

http://taalunieversum.org/taal/advies/vraag/293/

vraag

Is de juiste vorm frikadel of frikandel?
Antwoord

MrG is such a bal gehakt.

We all know that the correct term is "Fleischlaberl"

Toelichting

No, Yosemite park is not included in the trip we'll be making next month. We drive from LA to SF along the coastline, which I don't want to miss either. But missing Yosemite Park bugs me.

The one at Sheffield Hallam University is good - over at Speakeasy about a year ago I was asked to go and wave into the cam at a given time.

A couple of posters looked out for me - kind of weird "hands-across-the-internet" moment :)
