Sure, but those bottle were tossed last week. They make them at the Tecate brewery just south of the border and around here you can buy real Mexican made Tecate instead of that stuff made in New Jersey (or where ever).

if you could oerdin that would be great. They have to be 40s though because i have this bet that they actually do make them. I base this entire idea upon you talking about them. DONT LET ME DOWN!

I went to 7-11 and bought two 40oz bottles of Tecate beer. I have a photograph of the two 40oz bottles of Tecate. Let me find my transfer cable and i will post them.

These are actually 1 quart bottles which are 40 oz UK but only 32 oz US. I know they make 40 oz US bottles as I have seen them before but the 7-11 I bought them from last month was having a close out on them (thus they were dirt cheap). I suppose I could drive the 25 minutes south into Mexico to buy a 40 oz bottle at the brewery but before I do that I'd like to know how much money you bet. If its a few bucks then its not worth my time but if it is a lot of money then I'll drive to Mexico and get your bottle. I know at the brewery they have lots of different sized bottles for sale and a few specialty beers the brewery makes but which only get locally distributed.

Oerdin

I had to shrink the shit out of it to get it to fit on this page. It is a 32 oz US/40 oz UK bottle.

Lurker the Second

Looks like about 4 ounces to me.

You're a bit off with your measurements Oerdin... 32 fluid ounces American is equal to 33.1 fluid ounces British

Oerdin
04-05-2005, 19:30:17
OK, ok... 1 quart UK equals 40 oz UK. Happy? :p

I any event I polished off those two quarts and now I've bought 6 1pt 9 fl oz (US) bottle's of Czech Budweiser.

Oerdin
04-05-2005, 19:47:20
Yeah, I started drinking after MRT asked me to get him some pictures of Tecate bottles. So I think that was around 8am or something.

In the US Anheiser-Busch owns the rights to the Budweiser name so originally the Czech Budweiwer sold itself as Budvar but AH still didn't like the name so they changed it to Czechvar. It is still called Budweiser in most other places.

Not normally. This time I was helping someone get a few pictures and the beer was just secondary. ;)

You do, however, have a knack for confusionary sentences.
