The new Airbus A380

Fuck it's big!

Note this isn't a thread for arguing about Boeing or whatever, just for WHOA! that's big appreciation.

as in airfare :)

Well allegedly this should make things cheaper...

What's the betting most airlines install the max number of seats and none have "airborne gyms" etc.

I object and disagree strongly to your Boeing or whatever comment. You are wrong and I am right. etc

It's massive innit? The designs for the inside look pretty amazing too. Although I prefer Boeing's idea of making the windows much, much bigger.

Bigger windows would be cool!
Was so neat flying over the Pacific and seeing the stars UNDER the wing of the plane. A big window would have been fantastic.

I doubt that it's as big as that Russian plane. Whose name I forget.

Was the plane upside down?

It's not as big as that, that's really cool too.

There are 812 pics of the Antonov 225.

The one I posted was the first link with the shuttle on it's back.

It is fantastically large. Probably turn out slightly more useful than the concord.

Greg W

Bizarre. I typed in "huge russian plane" or similar and it gave me back antinov (note spelling). So I searched on Antinov, and got SFA. The moral to this story: don't expect decent answers when you type in generic crap in Google.

Sad thing is you need something next to it for scale. The Need Another Seven Astronauts Space Shuttle makes a ghood point of reference.

Yes, that's why I chose the space shuttle pic in my first post about it.
