can you say that word on television over there? Or did they just bleep it out? I like his honesty. Unfortunately the article doesn't show a picture of her tits, so I can't judge myself.

I don't think we can, certainly not on daytime television.

We can get away with teet though.

Yeah, but it was live breakfast TV. They're not going to break the feed just so the bouncers can beat the crap out of the guy and hustle him offstage.

I just wanted to see her reaction.

I've always wanted to say that to a woman (who isn't a stripper or whore). But guys like me can't get away with it. I'd be slapped. Celebrities can get away with anything.

Of course you can say "tits" on daytime TV over here, it's hardly a swear word...

After 9PM you can say pretty much anything except the cunt w***

Er, you can say that too if you like...

Really? Seem a recall a live phone in with James Whale where the caller got cut for using it. Was with Lemmy so should think easy to look up.

When you see great tits it's only polite to comment on them.

Yeah I actually was watching when he said it - I think he was expecting some kind of reaction, but she kind of stuffed them away and carried on as if nothing had happened...

Oh I don't know. If they've been exposed accidently it can get you even more of a dingding kicking.

If they're DELIBERATLY on display... that's different.

It's all about the context though, and I guess language like that isn't really appropriate for a supposedly serious phone-in type debate show, however in other situations it's ok (I think "cunts" was used a couple of times in Nathan Barley on Channel 4 recently for example).

Derek and Clive were clearly ahead of their time then.

It does make you wonder though, with soaps nowadays trying to reflect every aspect of real life from rape to robbery, how many swearwords Eastenders would feature if it were broadcast after the watershed!

Oh and Cruddy mentioned James Whale. Usually very entertaining listening on talkSport radio 1089 from 10pm til 1 on weekdays! Anyone else a fan?

Pretty funny though.

Don't see anything wrong with saying tits on daytime tv.

I think it could have been slightly more funny if he'd have used a childish word like boobs. Or even better norks.
