So what's the context? Is it made of brass, or does it get its tits out in public?

Bejabus and begorrah, cead mile failte your big self.

'Who will go drive with Fergus now,
And pierce the deep wood's woven shade,
And dance upon the level shore ?

Young man, lift up your russet brow,
And brood on hopes and fear no more.

And no more turn aside and brood

For Fergus rules the brazen cars.'

Wilfully eclectic line spacing + strange literary humour = pretty safe bet...

All well and good if it's the man himself. He's got the best record collection of anyone I've ever encountered online.

Completely and utterly wrong, me old China.

I was banned for a week for posting a link to a non-porn site that sells posters and prints of fine art.

The picture in question was Gustave Courbet's 'L'Origine du Monde' which has appeared in 'The Guardian' and as Spiffor also noted, France's national newspapers.

Minge's excuse was that I should have realized 'Poly was a 'family
site' and images of 'spreadeagled' (he was obsessed with that term) women were clearly beyond the Pale of Settlement.

He also seemed to have some awful literary equivalent of Tourette's or echolalia, because as well as repetitive use of 'spreadeagled' he insisted on claiming I was indulging in 'silly games'- but that's not one of my favourite singles, so I've no idea what he was blathering on about.

Clearly 'Poly families don't go to the Gare D'Orsay when on holiday, read the likes of 'The Guardian' or French newspapers, read books on 19th Century French social history or art or artists, watch the Discovery Channel (look! Amazon Indian woman with bare nonny! My eyes will fall out!) or read National Geographic (now with bare nekkid Papuan New Guinea paps and vadge).

He also declined to let me know which images of body parts would set me cruising for a Mingerpulco bruising in the future- so I've no idea if the Venus de Milo, Picasso and Braque's Cubist nudes or an Ibo or Dahomeyan sculpture will find me in Comstock land.

I hope he doesn't look at the thread on Eduardo Paolozzi's death that I posted- it contains an image of Paolozzi's sculpture of Newton outside the British Library- and you can see a side view of Newton's bare buttock and thigh. Should be worth at least another half-day's banning, that...

Maybe it's because it's too realistic...

This'd probably be fine:

He's a Republican. So he has no idea of art. And hairy french cunts make him nervous.

A picture of a man running a chainsaw through a woman would be fine too, I suppose, as long as the parts are so bloody that they don't qualify as nude.

The real shame for me is the small endowment. Apparently it was believed that small genitals were more aesthetically pleasing....

...yeah, right. And a Milky Bar is more satisfying than a Mars Bar.

Oh, Minge did say that female nipples were a no no. Apparently female nipples are sexual, men's aren't. Which is breaking news to me, and other oversexed homos who love walking past building sites in the summer...

Still, I've learned my lesson from this, and will restrict myself to family orientated discussions about which guns I own, and how killing trespassers on my property is entirely justified.

Poor Minge- I was reading his p.m.s to me, and thinking- 'how indicative of the decline in the ambit of the American lexicon' and also 'get that cactus out of your arse, Cotton Mather'.

Clearly the banning was a good thing, since it made me register here.

Any extra outlets for my spleen, invective and bile can only be a good thing, in that they save my neighbours from being tarred, feathered, and having Evelyn Waugh read to them at 3.00 a.m. through an improvised loudhailer.

Oh, and we had a power cut at 5.30 a.m. .
