Tuesday is underrated in it's shitness.

It's like Monday but sneakily worse because you are expecting monday to be shit, Tuesday just creeps up on you.

Eh at least the weather is nice and the cats and dog are all peacefully asleep.

My coffee mug is empty though :(

Tuesdays are worse than mondays- mondays go quickly but tuesdays just sit there fatly.

Tizzy
19-04-2005, 11:51:17
Thursdays are the worst, always have been, always will be.

They pretend to be good in a "it's nearly the weekend" type way, but that's just a lie cos it's still too far from the actual weekend to be any good.

Funko

Thursdays are the new friday though.

Provost Harrison

Now I don't mind Thursdays...it feels like the countdown to the end of the week is on. Tuesdays are awful, lethargic days, worse than Mondays because at least I feel fairly refreshed on the Monday after the weekend. Wednesday are half way so you feel accomplishment. And Fridays are the end...you know that is it, well, until Monday. Which reminds me, I could do with some holiday time off...

I like Tuesdays. Everyone else seems to be feeling extra depressed which makes me positively radiant in comparison :)

Plus the sun is out. I think statistically there is more sunshine on a Tuesday than any other day of the week.

Tuesday, the day of the war god. This is one of the better examples for me.

Still got to phone a lawyer up though and get the campaign moving.

It's civil, not criminal, so I won't have any porridge to look forward to.

Ray Milland avoided two whole days in 'The Lost Weekend'.

Take enough cocaine and heroin and according to Marianne Faithfull and David Bowie, you can avoid most of the Seventies, even when you're living through them.

That's what made the 80s so hellish.

Technicolour memories of Thatcher and Reagan, burgundy clad lads out on the razz, legwarmers on brickies and fake leather ties from C & A.

Ugh- and rah rah skirts too.

For me they were more enjoyable than the 80s.

At least there was only a Cold War, international terrorism, civil war in Bangla Desh, famines, civil war in The Lebanon, Angola, Nicaragua, Mozambique, Black September, the Baader Meinhof, the Red Brigades, power cuts, the National Front....

...and flares, vast baggy undulating acres of unwashed denim, wrapped around hairy greasy prog rock fans or Deep Purple enthusiasts, and endless droning turgid conversations about 'was Eric Clapton God ?'

There was also punk though, and good glam rock, and funk and soul...
