I better get cracking on those returns.
You'd think it doesn't make sense to file a return, given all my money comes from gifts and the gift tax doesn't apply to nickel and quarter donations, but I like the government to know I'm here.

Didn't we have this discussion when I was in London?

If so, just goes to show what twats we really are.

My taxreturn was due april 1. :D
But since I have to pay a nice little sum for my company car, I like to postpone handing over my money.

Yup...the return that owed money was the one I did this morning. Not gonna send in money before we have to

Do what most Americans do...wait until the last minute then rush to the post office with an envelope full of hastily gathered papers.

Bah, tax software is easy easy...and no post office

The tax server ran out of bandwidth and crashed here on tax return day as everyone tried to submit online at the last minute.

Hell yeah. Use turbo tax. I've already got my refunds back.

Nope, I use free software...can get a list of them through the IRS website. Even efile for free this year :)

I have to do one as well, but 2003 is done and 2004 isn't due until April 2006.

For some strange reason the tax man told me he won't be sending me any more forms to fill out, after all these years of an annual slog at them.

Must have got pissed off spending more time/effort/money on checking it then they collected in extra revenue :D

We got money back, so we sent it in in January. Cha-ching!

I did mine through H&R Block. The federal return was free, but the trick was that once you finish the federal return they say "hey, you've already entered all of your shizznit, now give us $20 and we'll do your state return too, it'll take, like, five more minutes." Fuck those tricks.

I filed in November. Give it another month and I might see a rebate.
