I always thought of "scooch" as that thing dogs do when they park their butt on the ground and drag themselves around with their front legs.

Scoosh is when you squeeze something out a bottle.

Like "scoosh some ketchup on the chips"

mr.G
15-04-2005, 13:24:06
if the bottle is a bit empty, otherwise you have a lot of ketchup upon your chipjes isn't it?

My mum always said she didn't know cause it is not a dutch word and all, and i inhereted her capability of expressing yourself in other languages.

Probably.
Stupid east coast.

Although I suppose you could scoosh water out the hose. Or scoosh some washing up liquid into the cup to wash it.

Cwtch - Welsh for cuddle

As in "Give us a cwtch"

The 'w' is pronounced 'oo' in Welsh;)

Cruddy

Thus the only word in the dictionary with no vowels; cwm, alternative spelling of combe.

=Greg W: How the heck would you need a jet to get accross Britain in 1/2 a day?

To avoid the traffic?

MOBIUS

Unless you're counting the 'h'...

Cruddy
17-04-2005, 01:44:36
Never seen that in a dictionary - must admit though, I never looked.
