I've started posting on Goth forums again.

Incidentally, it's really weird. When I last went on Goth forums, back in about 1997, the average age of posters must have been about 30. Now it's about 16.

You still get cutters trying to meet other cutters, however. That much is reassuring.

Oh dear. where you a Goth before?

I knew a cutter in college. She was a cute girl but all fucked up in the head because of her parents, or so she claimed, and she had scars all over her arms. To bad since she was actually pretty cute.

Yes, Laz, it is. Now embrace it and become one with the knife again.

Instead of "cutting" they should have a tooth ache. Always there no blood.

King_Ghidra
04-04-2005, 13:32:09
wow, yeah, having recently experienced some truly terrifying tooth-ache i can only agree

these cutters are a bunch of pansies, try an infected molar, that's fucking pain

Gettign hit in the nuts with an indoor cricket ball with no box on ain't a stroll through the park neither.

King_Ghidra

that's probably a little complex to arrange when you're feeling depressed

What? b/c you'd lack the initiative to go and buy an indoor cricket ball?
Maybe you signify that not having a box it's not the same than having one and not donning it?
And to be sure that it's no stroll in the park, would you need to have a park available or can you just rely on memories?

Luckily he lives in a park so he has one available.

i made some assumptions:

greg's post implied the ball would be propelled into your nether regions at some speed, probably as a result of a passage of crcket play, and thus probably involving another person

as depressed self-harmers ted to be the solitary non-cricket playing types i didn't think this was all very easily accomplished or more accessible than a razor blade

and no i don't know why i bothered justifying that either

A desire to get back to my roots, to educate the kids, and to talk about paganism without people taking the piss.

I've never understood the Goth thing. I think it's been made too laughable in the US to even consider as an alternative. Are they the same thing as shoe gazers and cave dwellers?

Lazarus and the Gimp
04-04-2005, 19:31:18
It's linked to the Poly thing. I need to drag back some spare time in my life to do something creative, and Poly is just a leech. So I'm cutting out on-line stuff that doesn't add anything. Counterglow stays, as it's the only community I'm really bothered about right now. The goth stuff stays because there's a lot of creative input and it helps me to bounce ideas off others.

So I'm working on it. Mind you, with another kid due in a month, it'll be slow going.

Nope- no idea what sex it is. I was up for finding out, but Mrs Gimp used the executive veto.
