When the clock got turned back an hour, presumably for BST, the old posts remained at their old times. And, since the board sorts messages by date/time, they're now screwed up. Or something.

I was unable to post for an hour, since I posted at 9:20AM, the clocks went forward to 10:20AM, and flood control wouldn't let me post "for another twenty seconds", meaning 10:20 + 20 seconds. Which I had to wait an hour for.

I hope this makes everything clear as mud.

It seems that even modern server software is unable to cope with Daylight Saving Time...

Oh! That's why I couldn't post my devastatingly witty retort until it was too late and not funny anymore.

Don't try and pretend it was funny to start with

That never stopped any of us before.

Nav: does the forum record posting time, and order posts by posting time in GMT or UTC, or is there some other algorithm? If it's GMT/UTC, which shouldn't change with Daylight Savings, this shouldn't happen.

Shoddy programming. I'd ask for my money back!

What money? Management spent it all on hookers and champagne!

Drunk hookers programmed the forum software? Figures.
