I read it on the interweb, so it must be true.

I don't understand why he didn't just give her to her parents and wash his hands of the whole thing. If they want to pay their respects at the bed of a living, breathing memorial to their daughter, fine, if she miraculously recovers, even better.

People would probably line up to pay her medical bills.

I imagine it has something to do with honoring his wife's wishes and doing what she asked him to do.

He waited seven or eight years to start the process, though. Seems odd.

There's so much conflicting info out there about this I don't know what to think. A lot of it is obvious crap, like the 10 seconds of video where she looks like she's interacting - out of many, many hours of the video actually taken where she's totally unresponsive.

Oh, he didn't surrender her for lots of possible reasons. For instance, covering up his attempt to kill her. Or because he's one of those wife beating, totally controlling, hyper jealous bastards, and therefore refuses to give up something that is his. (Evidence for both of those are out there.)

He didn't start the process to have her die until after all the medical lawsuits were out of the way. Until then, it seems he still needed her.

I was surprised he didn't take the million that was offered to him to turn her over. No fault divorce, an a million dollars in his pocket? That would have been the smart play, wouldn't it?

I don't believe Terry ever said anything to him about it, because he stated multiple times, under oath, that Terry never stated what her desire was about such a thing. He didn't change that, under oath, until after the medical suits settled. Then he immediately turned around, started the process to kill her, and claimed that she had told him she wouldn't want to live.

He's a complete and total bastard. But I don't think the other side was all honey and roses. They certainly weren't before their little spat with him.

He threw them out of the room just before she died.

I don't know if that is actually a fact at this time. Someone for him and his lawyer stated that the hospice staff threw them out, to do some testing on her, and that she expired then. None of the hospice staff thought to go find her parents and bring them back.

The staff haven't issued any comments or made any interviews about such.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had. But I'll wait on accepting that as what actually happened for a while. It's such a charged, scandalous happening.

this is turning into a poly thread.

who cares at this point. she's dead.

I don't know why people just assume he's a wife beater.

Medical records. They appear to show a long history of serious trauma (none of which occured before her marriage, and she never did anything active or had any accidents while married). Then there's his history of hyper jealousy, and his history of hyper control issues. Those tend to be strong evidence of a wife beater. Could be also because of the number of times he's been caught beating his girlfriend and children.

It's coming to light that he's tight with the local sherriff and other good ole boys large and in charge down there. If that's true, it would explain why he never got a serious look, and why whenever such an official thing was started, it got squashed from the top.

Yes, I think that is a bit odd and I can only guess it has to do with him living with his wife's parent's during that period and the desire of a husband that his wife make a full recovery. People are in denial about these things sometimes and I understand the original malpractice law suite was such a financial drain that he had to sell their house and move in with her parents just so he could pay the lawyers.

I'm sad she's dead, I never got a chance to have sex with her. :(

I'm not into necrophilia. And soon she will be a pile of ashes anyways.

The didn't kill it. They just stopped providing unnatural life support to it. It chose to die. It could have chosen to disobey physics and just keep living if it had really wanted to.
