Then sun is shining, it was eggs for breakfast, and I'm watching "The Trapdoor" on DVD.

Shame that Mrs Gimp wants to go furniture shopping....

I've been shopping.
In Oxford Street.
On a bank holiday weekend Saturday afternoon.
With two people who annoy each other.

I slept, got up jst before midday, watched random tv, decided thingy from 'Surgical Spirit' is actually good looking, read my book, watched 'My Little Eye' (twisted as fuck) read some more, cooked, watched some more tv, and went to the easter vigil. No one ever goes to that anymore. It's a good service, they give us candles and everything!

I woke up, watched some cricket, went shopping (http://www.counterglow.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27584), went out on a kind of blind date to the Rugby to see the Tahs slaughter the Bulls, and had a pretty good day, all up.

I woke up this morning, got myself a gun. . .and began grading papers that have been stacking up on my desk. Happy Easter!

am I the only one that's slightly worried by that first part? Getting up that is, not getting a fun.

I spent my Saturday scubbing floors, cleaning the kitchen, and installing a new dishwasher. One of the fittings for the water in line leaked and it wouldn't stop no matter how much I tightened it or how much teflon tap I put in the threads. I eventually had to buy a new brass 90 degree elbow fitting to solve the problem.

It all worked out well in the end but that copper tubbing is a real pain to bend and shape in the right way so that everything fits correctly.

or if you had any sense you would use plastic universal hand tightening fixtures and save on the sweat and swearing.

Wasn't he posting at 'Poly about having some girl want to move in with him. Maybe it was some DIY rite of passage to prove his general worthyness and usefulness around the house.

Good for both myself and Laz that such things are common in the UK.

What if he doesn't want his hand tightened?
