We celebrate Easter Monday too (aka "Angel's Monday", or popularly "Easterette". Serious!).

But there is no official holiday for Good Friday (which we call Holy Friday), despite being a catholic country, not even half-holiday.
That's left to each company decision.
Mine, scheduled me in a staff meeting, until 4 pm

This is one of those special weekends where, should you live in Reading, you can visit the Legendary After Dark on thursday, friday, saturday, and sunday... a rare treat indeed...

Has anyone ever done 4 days? I've done 3, and I know others have but 4?

24-03-2005, 10:32:30
I don't think so. Not that I know about anyway.

Are you going tonight?

I'm always forgetting the Monday  (http://www.dti.gov.uk/er/bankhol.htm)

24-03-2005, 14:14:45
I might go tonight if everyone else is.

24-03-2005, 14:29:40
I think they are (except Tizzy).

Tonight is a new night (I think) The Word - 90s Music!

I'm jointly excited and gutted that we are old enough to have a retro night for our decade.

24-03-2005, 14:52:21
Damnit damnit damnit!

I might have to encourage them to go to bed early and sneak back out!

24-03-2005, 15:02:24

Then we'll just wake them up when we get back.

24-03-2005, 15:06:27
Apparently "No, I'll sleep through it"
Silly girl

24-03-2005, 15:06:59

That's what she thinks.

24-03-2005, 15:08:41
She hasn't met Amy yet

Do they still do the Fools Gold thing of letting you for free on Sunday if you go on all 3 nights?

Imagine what the treat is for 4 consecutive nights?

Perhaps one of those tasty barmaids...

24-03-2005, 16:14:51
Did they do that before? I did three nights and didn't get in for free...

24-03-2005, 16:15:14
Got my first After Dark newsletter this month.

Its a great read.

All misspelt, two paragraphs of it.

24-03-2005, 16:18:51

Yeah. He's still on about the parking in town...

24-03-2005, 16:21:22
Really? That's one hell of a bugbear he's got.

Craig spoke to him a weeks back about setting up a AD football team, he seemed pretty keen...

24-03-2005, 16:22:52
He hates the traffic wardens... except when people are actually parked dangerously, then throw the book at them. Something like that. :)

Which guy is it that writes it?

24-03-2005, 16:24:39
Feels like I haven't been to the AD for AGES!!! I think today could be messy.

24-03-2005, 16:27:04
Neil, the owner. He's a er..rather large man with glasses.

I hope today gets messy

24-03-2005, 16:30:29
I thought it was him. ie The white guy.

24-03-2005, 16:44:01
amazing that paik titled the thread "After tomorrow" whitout knowing that you'll have steered it towards "After Dark"!!!

24-03-2005, 20:47:16
