No, it was the Southern Rebellion. Get your names right.

My feelings on the War of northern Agression?

Easy enough. It was a war where the right of the people to determine how they lived in their communities was usurped by a power hungry national government. It was the end of true freedom in the US. It had one, and only one, good outcome...the end of slavery.

northern bastards raped, pillaged, and destroyed all in the name of what?...unity? Bullshit. It was nothing more than the beginning of everything bad that comes out of Washington today.

Wow. You mean you don't think the elimination of slavery was a good result of the war? ;)

Hard to argue with this philosophy given the present facist leaning ways of the Republican party.

"American Civil War"? I think I've heard about it. I believe it was all about beards. There were some seriously impressive ones on display, and it was always going to end in tears.

Off and on for about a year or so. (more off than on I'm sad to say.)

'Poly seems to go through periods where lots of people are saying nothing very loudly. Get's a bit boring when that happens. Always appears to be something interesting going on here.

Indeed. Particularly on the Southern side.

Major General James Ewell Brown Stuart
(1833-1864) is certainly a fine example.

Did he always stick his tongue out in photos? Or is it some sort of horrible handicap?

He had his tongue shot off and replaced with a wooden one.

Lieutenant General James Longstreet was no baby face either.
