You can only get in on tap in the US, and I've never seen it outside an "Irish" style pub.

They had it there a few weeks ago, it had better not be gone.

~30 minutes to go!

The last irish pub I was in was in Germany.:D

Too many drunks out vomiting on the streets and sidewalks on St Pat's day for me.

I'm staying in and drinking a Guinness

It's hard to get vomitty drunk on Guinness! Nice slow happy drunk (but very drunk) is the Irish way.

Several pints of Guiness may have just been consumed here. Not by me. But by combined effort we managed to acquire 2 Guinness hats from the "collect tokens" promotion

zmama

I deny any intelligence whatsoever. Winning an argument with DS hardly proves anything.

There's a old fashioned Irish Brew pub not far from my house which has some nice fish & chips to go with there home made beer. The four or five Irish places downtown are also having some big St. Patty's day party but I don't want to go there for the same reason Zmama doesn't want to go out. To many people getting totally blotto and barfing every where.

Lurker
17-03-2005, 16:40:16
Funko, I suppose we'll have to wait for Venom to tell us who Lilith is. None of those other suckers will bite.

I'm back. No problem with bar stools. All the furniture was removed at 3 pm. Seven hours. I'm too sober to be this exhausted.

I left when a couple of ladies started ignoring the wedding rings on my friend's hands.

They could see my ring just fine.

MoSe
18-03-2005, 09:03:48
ringS???
one for each wife?

MDA
18-03-2005, 12:24:28
two rings, each on a different friend. so... friends', not friend's I suppose. :p

The Smithwick's was good, not as good as I remember, but very good.

I was a little mad when they suddenly started selling 12 oz cup instead of 16 oz glasses of beer for the same price, but you can't fault them for pulling every money making trick possible on a big drinking holiday.
