View Full Version : Why does the grain of my thigh hair go horizontal the higher it gets?

Whenever I comb my leg hair, I have to pay special attention to the area a few inches below my hip (and higher). While the rest of my leg hair is most easily combed along the length of the leg, the upper hair is most easily combed around the circumference. I have to comb it in a curve to get them to match. A similar thing happens when I'm combing my arms, about 2/3 of the way between my elbow and my shoulder. Why does this happen?

It could be a natural cold defense.

That's the nickname the papers gave the teen that beat his girlfriend's abdomen with a bat to make her miscarry.

Mr. G, the teen couple couldn't afford an abortion. So, 20 whacks with a bat... Last I heard on the news, her mother gave them the idea. Too bad she couldn't give them the money or better advise. But, the news here has moved on to Wacko Jacko, Martha in Stripes, and how the Peterson family is hating the world for locking up their boy.
