Snowij! Outside my flat this morning.

Snow is cool for a day or two then I'd get ticked off at all the ice.

We got 15cm here and +/- 0C, so it's covered with ice and I have to clear pavement every morning :(

We tend to grit icy surfaces here, and anyway they quickly cover up with snow again.

Snow depth on fields and stuff is currently about a metre. It was -18 yesterday.

My garden was all pretty covered in snow this morning. Can't get the picture off my phone though :(

i always wondered why our more snow-gifted cousins don't post pictures of it. People are so unmultimedia.

I like snow, it was cool walking to the station this morning.

Funkodrom

It's probably nothing special for them.

Talking to a Greek/Aussie guy at work. When him and his wife moved over here his wife had never seen snow before he said "It gets boring quickly".

People who are jaded think they're so cool. They're just boring.

I got my joie de vivre going on.

Yeah, there is a bit of snow outside. Bah! Hate the stuff...

Tizzy

I must have a really high boredom threshold, I still get excited about snow :)

Scabrous Birdseed
25-02-2005, 11:36:04
Actually the snow looks really, really nice, especially newly fallen at night.

Not so nice in april when three generations of dog-pee are exposed.

I like how it covers up the squallor, but love snow? Nope.

I don't hate it either...just makes life a bit harder

C@H
25-02-2005, 12:17:12
I ~love~ it, when the snow clearing trucks (missing vocable) shove huge heaps of snow onto my pavement, which I have to clean :(

zmama
25-02-2005, 12:21:14
yeah I need to shovel the walk, but have to have at least one more big cup of coffee
maybe two

Clothes might be a good idea too. Jammies are a bit chilly fer shoveling

all to do with temperature and all.

Ahh.. but THEN the german effect will kill you: the nitpicker neighbour will have a look at the clock, and if your pavement isn't clear at 09:00, he will "by accident" have a little walkaway, only to slip on your pavement and sue some smart amount of compensation.

I've seen several US comedy movies and I only can resume: The american an d german humor are as much incompatible as possible. So this discussion is pointless as ever ;)
