It is rather odd yes. It's amusing in places but I reckon it could have been done alot better.

The first series was far better.

It's all a bit too smug and not dry enough I think. They telegraph the jokes and are a bit too obvious. Stuff like the big metal door graphics are just silly and don't fit.

That big main guy is the main smug culprit. I was sitting behind him on the bus from my cousin's wedding to the reception and he was a bit smug then too.

I agree with protein - very odd, amusing in places but the idea's better than the execution.

The music is great though. I think they must have raided the bbc radiophonic's workshop for those synth sounds.

He did the voice for Darth Maul in "Phantom Menace".

He also appears in an episode of Black Books, playing a stunningly smug guy who brings Fran to orgasm by reading the shipping forecast.

I think he's a great actor. He damned near stole the show in "Shaun of the dead".

Yep. Now explain the word that sums up Willis' acting before Terry Gilliam beat it out of him.

That wasn't acting, that's exactly what he's like in real life. :)

Even in Sixth Sense there are some pretty smug moments.
