Ever hear lyrics so badly garbled it defied attempts to google them to determine what the hell was being sung? It's even worse when when the stations refuse to announce the damn song!

Anyway, there was a song from the eighties that I knew I wasn't hearing right, even though I had heard the damn thing for nigh-on twenty years!

What I heard was:

Everytime we tried to call
Security went through the wall
Every three years we had to realign
A thousand Deceptacons
Couldn't keep us from our evil plans
Useless the plan was something we'd despise.

Anyone know what this is?

I recorded Debaser's band and I thought the lyrics went:

Get you, to Seronquay
She's in the right mind
She don't matter.

and they actually go:

Get them to ask the right que
stions and the right an
swers don't matter.

It's a lot clearer on the new version. :(

I liked the mystery. Shame

Better for the song, less good for comedy mishearing.

It's very good one doesn't understand some lyrics. That way he can replace them with his own that are maybe more relevant to him. I have "re-written" whole refrains and if I finally find out what the correct lyrics are I'm dissapointed because they sometimes don't relate to me.

When I prefer the garbled version, I go ahead and sing it over the song anyway. :)
