I'm stuck talking to some retard on msn from college I don't have the heart to block, and Casualty hasn't started yet :(

What were you cleaning? A logpile?

Putting away a scrap piece of plywood...so good guess.

I can still type... but it's interesting to do without my right index finger

I'm soaking the finger cause the splinter went deep and i couldn't dig it out

I had a sliver of glass go deep into the sole of my foot once. It hurt for a couple of months, then stopped. Two years later it came out of my foot again- but out through the heel. The human body is weird.

I've had a staple go straight through my figer once. I now have a fear of staplers.

Once licking an envelope I got a papercut on my tongue and I have a phobia of licking envelopes consequently...

I had a really thin sliver of glass go into my right index finger once. Hurt like buggery, wouldn't come out either, and I couldn't use the finger without it feeling like it was sliding in ever deeper.

A few days later I got a call from home, and my dad told me to soak my finger in hot water. Presumably this causes the blood vessels to expand, squeezing the sliver out. So I did, and while it didn't work right away, I was surprised a little later to find I kept catching my finger on my clothes - further inspection showed the sliver was half poking out of the skin, which I grabbed and removed. Hurrah for hot water!

sorry ...

Glass cuts give me the creeps. Like that scene in May (is that right?), where the blind children are all crawling over broken glass trying to get at her doll. Eeeh. :nervous:

I think making blind children crawl over glass is a good idea any time of year :D

this thread is now making me shudder a lot :( I'm starting to find it hard watching Casualty and Holby now!! And yesterday, when I was watching my film, I jumped. I never used to

We could try numbing you to that by posting loads of pictures of ugly, gaping wounds. The added benefit of that is that it'll make protein's nuts retract.

20-02-2005, 13:57:16
You could. I don't think I've seen enough gore recently.

I went clubing, drank to much, and crashed at my friend's house. This morning I degreased the drive way and washed my car.
