for CG meets. Too bad there were so many other things wrong with it, like it was built in the 60's and it creeped my city-bred better half out, being located in the woods.

The 60's bar is awesome, despite the NASCAR decor.

OK, its awful, but I loved it. Wife did not agree. Maybe we can just get a regular house with a keggerator and wine rack.

I used to have a keggerator and I loved it. They day we sold our keggerator was one of the most tramatic of my life.

Are there pics of this house online?

14-02-2005, 13:43:53
Just outside pics, I'm not sure they're publicly available to non-realtors, sometime's there's a week delay.

There *should* have been an attachment showing the bar, but I was in a hurry to talk with our real estate agent about another house.

That's great! Buy it!

When you say "built in the 60s" is that a problem because it's old rather than because (as I would consider) it's new?

who's that person with the fucked up head?! no wonder no one will move in

The bar is pretty impressive.

Built in the 60's probably means that it's a boring ranch style house with stupid style windows.

I like the head on the bar......
are there a lot of eskimos in the neighbourhood?

14-02-2005, 14:50:49
That is a HUGE bar. Is it a a former cafe or something?

Single pane windows, which is not good. 60's is a little old, but a little old is pretty often better built. Nice hardwood floors. It just needed a LOT of work for the price.

but it has a barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

We're making an offer on a newer house in suburbia.

The bar is a nice blend of wood, brushed aluminum, and plastic countertop. :)

I smudged my wife's head because I didn't ask permission to put her on the internet. Kind of an "Ash Wednesday gone horribly wrong" look.

They sell keggerators at Best Buy these days.

14-02-2005, 16:30:21
They should sell them everywhere and I don't understand why they don't.
