Yaay! My friends and I are going to old town San Diego where we will eat at Casa De Bandini (http://www.bazaardelmundo.com/dining/bandini.html) a historic Spanish Colonial Villla which has been turned into a truly great Mexican restaurant. I love going there since there is always great Mexican food, mariachi music, and me downing margaritas like its Cinco de fucking Mayo.

Currently it is raining in a very unsouthern California manner, but, the restaurant has a nice inside alone with a huge wood fireplace so things should be warn and cozy. Especially after I start sampling those margaritas.

It's raining here too... no Mexican for me. Though I can probably go outside, start cussing about immigrants and get a few tacos thrown at me.

Sounds like the rest of California, Japher. ;)

The restaurant was great and the margaritas better. Normally, I sit outside on the patio since it has a very nice garden with a fancy Spanish style fountain so this was the first time I'd actually eatten inside. It was nice and that gigantic medieval style fireplace throw off more heat then a nuclear reactor. It turns out that Friday night is salsa night so we ended up dancing with some really cute girls who were attending law school at USD.

After that we walked down the block to the bar/club called Brick by Brick (http://entertainment.signonsandiego.com/profile?id=89021) which is famous for selling beer in yard long glasses. The glasses are fancy blown glass and the reality is the "yard" of beer is only around 3.5 pints but that still isn't bad. ;)
