One of those little ones you get on mountains that are a bit bent and twisty.

Balsam fir? - I've seen stunted ones near the tree line on Mt. Washington in New England.

Oerdin

I was thinking a strong and straight redwood.

It should be Californian since I'm Californian.

Mariposa

Oerdin

Maybe a California Coastal Live Oak. Tall, strong with many twisting branches some of which are known to drop onto passers by hitting them on the head.

OK. A small, bent and twisty mountain fir with big silicone tits.

You mean prickly, dry, and impossible to kill? that doesn't sound to bad.

Those smoke trees are so annoying. They produce incredible amounts of pollen which it spreads in great clouds every time the wind blows. It's like they're jizzing on everything.

How to Nominate a Big Tree?

MDA

I thought the Sausage trees we saw in the zoo were funny in a phallic kind of way.

Cottonwood makes a hell of a mess, too. They are jizzing on everything. Its all they can do.

Is a tomato bush technically a tree?

What about kelp?

miester gandertak
10-02-2005, 20:50:30

I never realised the world of trees was so flamboyantly pornographic.

MDA

Kelp is only barely a plant. Same kingdom as trees, but wrong phylum or division or something. Its an algae instead of a vascular plant.

Oerdin
10-02-2005, 20:55:20
We harvest alot of kelp here. If you buy toothpast in the US then likely its made using pulped kelp from Southern California. That should be enough to make you want to stop brushing your teeth. ;)

heh, its on a different branch of the same tree! heh, heh!

I kind of fancy being a nut tree. Come and play with my nuts, baby.

Oerdin
10-02-2005, 20:59:52
Or I could be an avocado tree. People could make guacamole using my avocados and they could give European tourists the runs.

Too bad RT meeting pics are not all out yet.
Or maybe the definition was too low.
In the bottom left corner of the big chalkboard on the opposite wall, with all the dishes menu and all, it was written:
"NOTE: all dishes may contain some traces of nuts"
...an ideal caption for the dingding kicking pics that were taken thereunder!!!

I think most of the shots missed that unfortunately, that would have made a great pic :D

"And this one shows Tizzy attempting to sterilize Funko using blunt force trama. Luckily, the poor guy only lost his left nut."
