So a fight apparently breaks out at a girls basketball game in Alabama. This is what one witness, a cheerleader, had to say:

"People were screaming and running,'' Prattville cheerleader Cherish Cartee said. "Girls lost their cell phones. Keys got lost. It's something I will never forget."

I'd give a link, but it's not worth it.

I heard a reporter the other day talking about the Iraqi elections, and while everyone else was talking about how the Iraqi ppl loved being able to actually vote, this reporter was all "well, the ban on cars will be lifted tomorrow, and traffic will be really bad..."

Yaaay! Democracy causes traffic jams

stupid reporters

What was funny is that neither team that was playing was involved in the brawl. Nor their parents or local faculty. So I'm trying to figure out who was fighting. The video from it shows a bunch of people mulling around, shouting at each other (nothing else), but that could be almost any pack of drunk sports fans.

Initial reports have it being poor people getting drunk and emulating their NBA stars in action after having a verbal fight about which person was responsible for the actual NBA basketbrawl. Doubt I'll hear any follow up on it though.
