Sorry about the quality of page 2 I resized them all too small and then made them bigger 'cause I was too lazy to get the originals again. Next lot will be better. Only about 80 to go.

Good pics, though I'm glad my train took me to Liverpool instead of London...you are all as frightening as I feared.

Funkodrom
31-01-2005, 12:00:12
On purpose I assume? A friend of mine did actually get on a train to Liverpool instead of Liverpool St once. Whoops.

Martini
31-01-2005, 12:04:13
Well, semi-on purpose. I hadn't really planned where I was going, that just happened to be the next train.

Funkodrom
31-01-2005, 12:22:43
Oh well, could have been London I guess.

http://www.muf.me.uk/files/london2005/sun1.htm

Ok, this is the last of mine. Some of the ones I had taken when drunk in the early hours of Sunday morning were basically blurry pictures of nothing so I didn't post those.

So PH and Mr. G were the Old Peculiar drinkers this meet?

Funkodrom
31-01-2005, 13:28:16
Provost Harrison was drinking John Smiths. Drekkus nearly didn't buy it for him because he thought it was a joke and he'd ask for it at the bar and get laughed at.

Funkodrom

Any sign of K_G yet? He didn't make it for some reason. :(

Drekkus
31-01-2005, 13:36:58
I asked if there was an actual drink called John Smiths. When he said yes, I ordered it for him. Maybe I shouldn't have if that would have saved him from falling over in the street.

MoSe
31-01-2005, 13:37:28
I almost got laughed at by the barman when ordering a John Smiths at the Turtle in September....

Anyway, I got there at 5pm (IIRC) and I drank
1. Old Peculier
2. Courage Best Bitter
3. Old Peculier
4. 2 cans TsingTao at the Wong Kei
5. Courage BB at the Hand&Racquet (couldn't finish the last sip)

I managed to keep my composure wile RC and Inta walked me to the hotel (10 minutes I think)
But then I was too drunk to understand how the card key operated - luckily after 15 minutes a teenager came out of the neigboring room to go clubbing, and he helped me out of compassion, otherwise I might have had to sleep in the aisle, keeping thinking at the chinese restaurant name....

Also, The Shaker looks really, really gay.

Funkodrom
31-01-2005, 13:40:04
x-post - great story MoSe.

So did you guys not have the house wine on the Loser table? We got through 3 bottles I think (and 10 pots of that awesome hangover prevention tea!).

Funkodrom
31-01-2005, 13:45:54
Yeah, I did too. Our table was great. I tentatively suggested getting it expecting the normal barrage of "Oh god, no it's awful" and everyone but Nav enthusiasically said yes. :)

yeah i had a bit of a bizarre day.

1) i was stupidly hungover. (I will cite one example of how drunk i was - I had pissed on the floor and pissed myself in the bed at shell's house the previous night).

2) My house viewings on saturday took much longer than anticipated. Started at 2pm and finished after 4pm.

3) I got a call from an old uni mate to tell me he was in Reading for the night, so i thought fuck it and stayed here.

You can't link from tripod to the forum, so if you try and see them here you get teh copy protection image and then it caches that when you go to the actual site.
