Ok, you got the idea from last year, audio gallery and text here:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/music/4149005.stm

1. The Bravery
2. Bloc Party
3. Kano
4. The Game
5. Kaiser Chiefs
6. KT Tunstall
7. The Dead 60s
8. The Dears
9. Tom Vek

Bolc Party are great, Kaiser Chiefs riot single I thought was great, apparently The Magic Numbers are really good and I'm seeing them on Feb 8th with Bloc Party in Reading.

No Morning Runner though. (also playing that night)

Where's the "they all sound crap" option?

I forgot it.

1. The Bravery

Another US band sounding like Brit 80s indy bands? God no.

2. Bloc Party

Absolutely brilliant. CG music forum fans will have heard a lot about them from us Reading posters, and Debaser put them on a LWP. Cool, interesting and great songs.

3. Kano

Urgh... sorry. This totally isn't my kind of hip-hop. Someone looking for a British Will Smith?

4. The Game

50 Cent part deux. No thanks.

5. Kaiser Chiefs

I love the way they run their lyrics on "I Predict a Riot" lines run over the end of bars and into the next section of the songs, great rhymes. And it rocks too. His voice is the kind that normally would really annoy me but somehow he gets away with it. Good stuff.

6. KT Tunstall

Shame there's no Ali McBeal for her to get on the soundtrack these days... "the new Dido"?

7. The Dead 60s

Urgh... comparing them to The Coral, The Zutons and The Specials makes them sound like my most hated band ever, this clip isn't as bad as that but I'm going to hate them so I hope they don't get too big.

8. The Dears

Boring.

9. Tom Vek

Hmmm... need to hear more.

10. The Magic Numbers

Not sure about them either, they sound quite good but will need variety...

1. The Bravery

More like the strokes meet franz ferdinand than the strokes meet the smiths. Could be good.

2. Bloc Party

Great stuff.

3. Kano

Dn't know what funko means about will smith, just sounds like the same old lame uk hip hop to me

4. The Game

yep it's 50 cent all over again. that particular track is extremely weak, and maybe dre has lost it or something but his basslines aren't giving rappers the chance to do anything interesting at all.

5. Kaiser Chiefs

Big potential from what i have heard of the single, as long as it doesn't turn into a shit supergrass thing.

6. KT Tunstall

boring, not my thing.

7. The Dead 60s

This is more my gf's thing than mine, definitely sounds like the zutons or the rapture or something

8. The Dears

hmm hard to say, probably not my kind of thing.

9. Tom Vek

yeah be nice to hear more of this chap, that clip was crap, there was 20 seconds of handclaps

10. The Magic Numbers

woah you ugly! music didn't do much for me

Bloc party seem head and shoulders above the rest.

"Dn't know what funko means about will smith, just sounds like the same old lame uk hip hop to me"

You don't like Supergrass? They're one of the best British bands of the 90s!

I thought he meant turn into a shit version of Supergrass rather than Supergrass were shit. Maybe not. Supergrass are great.

Bloc Party will rule the world in 2005.

It certainly seems so.

1. Based on this clip, they're not Franz Ferdinand meets the Strokes or The Smiths or whatever. They're Eurodance. Bleh.

2. I've liked what I've heard of Bloc Party so far, and the leaked album has got some Net buzz.

3. Not my scene.

4. Not my scene.

5. Based on the clips, either this or Bloc Party are the best. This could be very good.

6. WHO WOULDA THOUGHT IT FIGUUUUUUUURES

7. Meh.

8. The clip didn't strike me, but this could be good. We'll see.

9. Yeah, the clip was crap. This could be good, too, with a higher probability than 8.

10. Meh.

If you're really lucky, you'll still be able to say that next year.

I'll have to see if I can't find any more block party songs on the net.
