I mentioned that I had picked this game up the other day. DS and Shiny asked for my take on the game.

In a nutshell......... one word. Sucks.

Wasted my money. I guess if you were in the mood to just lean back in your chair and not work the keyboard and just futz with a mouse and click around, then this game is ok. I found it as boring as Caesar I II and III.... or any of the other sim build crap that gives you no rush.

If I want to be lazy and kick back, card games and Marbles from netives.com are for me. Not this game.

The interface is easy enough to learn, but the game is simply slow, boring and....well... it sucks.

What can I say.

I need some AoK action or The New Warcraft game to come out... or maybe Age of Mythology will be cool. I need to get the adrenaline going if I am paying 30 or 40 or 50 bucks for a game.

For that money , it better pump me up.

This game is ok for a once in a blue moon lazy sit around and build a pretty Medieval Castle society blah blah blah. Worth 9 bucks tops if you can get it at the Bargain Bin. Hell, I payed $4.50 for Battleship and I have played that a whole lot more.

Nothing else to say.... sorry guys.

I'm deeply disappointed.
Try Combat Mission...it is the thinking man's adrenaline game.

That was pretty much my take on the game, as well, OW.

He never claimed to be smart or capable of learning from his mistakes.

I get many free Demos every month with my game magazines subscriptions and also off the net.

I only have Caesar II. I didn't buy I or III.

Unlike some folks that have all three Civs. :-P~~

Thanks Tom:).

I guess it's just as well... I don't have any money at the moment for 'non-essential' games - like the list you gave there.

A question for the management - do we want to review 'bad' games, or just ignore them entirely?

Man, let me at the Sims!

BGH, you should be alerted to the fact that some of us like The Sims.

This was just my take on a game that I did for basically Darkstar and you, Ned.

And for anyone else that cared. It wasn't meant for the front page review section.

So this one can be ignored. :D

But that is a valid question for other games. This one wasn't worth it.

The Sims is a lot of money for 15 minutes of gameplay.
"Oooh, he went potty!"
"Time to go to work!"
"Bwaaaa! I need a nap!"
"Hi neighbor...squawk squawk squawk babble."
"I can't drive or clean up my own home...I'm a feeb!"
