My brother got this for Christmas, and I was captivated by it. I don't own a PS2, he lives about forty miles away, and it seems a little silly to buy a $150 game system (best price I found) and an additional $34 for just one game.

Does anyone know if a PC port is coming?

No PC port as far as I know. It's available for the XBox and Gamecube too, if you have either of those, but I'm guessing that you don't.

A sequel to the game is currently in development. None of the sites I visited mentioned a PC version, but they didn't explicitly say there wouldn't be one. It doesn't look likely though, if they didn't port the first one.

MM look into used game systems...We got a used ps2 for $80 from a used game store here in town. All refurbished and warranted.

There are plenty of other good games in every genre out for all the consoles, too, especially the XBox. You needn't buy the system just for one game.

Legends will not be a PC game.

Santa brought the Qaj household an XBox w/XMen:Legends for Christmas. It's pretty good, but don't play it with 10 year olds. They suck at it. Much easier to play it single player (though the player AI isn't perfect either, it's better than 10 year olds).

I don't think it's wirth $184 though. Maybe if you can pick up an eBay-used-with-games bundle cheap, it'd be worth then getting the game, or if you were planning on getting a console anyway (though keep in mind the PS3 and XBox 2 aren't going to be far off now).

My brother observed that in almost every battle he has been in, the character that was worst off was the one not being played by an AI. :)
