Lameish rip off of The Ring...not half as scary either, and I'm a total pushover.

Should have seen The Incredibles.

The Incredibles proved too scary for Rhiannon. It's by Brad Bird, who did "The Iron Giant", and he aims at a slightly older target than most Pixar dudes.

Hell, I was scared by the Care Bears and the Rainbow stageshow back in the day.

I found the Incredibles a bit charmless

I liked the Grudge... I think Fat Albert will be scarier though

I have to say that the trailers alone made the Grudge look shit. Hardly a good sign.

Freaked out the three people I was with

one had to go part way through the movie

another was screaming all the time (and she looked like she was hyperventalting)

They need to have more boobs in movies like that.

Oooh...Incredibles done by Iron Giant guy, eh....that was a great movie.

Which Grudge are you talking about? The original or the shit remake?

The original had some very nice touches, more originality than anything you get these days

Can't watch Buffy in those kind of movies. I keep wonder why she just doesn't kick its ass.

oh my god! I saw the remake and it is the scariest fim i've ever seen!! I hate that noise it makes me sick!!! In fact the whole film made me sick with that creeping up your spine kind of way. Its all really insidious because you dont see anything, its all about suggestion.

My brother is shit scared of it too, and he can watch anything. DH and I have downloaded the rattling noise off the net and we are going to ring him at night and play it lol

I went with three of my freinds to see the grudge

one covered his face with his hands and left part way through

another was shaking through the whole movie and would let out great screams, and was freaked about it for over a weak afterwars

the 3 just yelled some

I wasn't frightened by it :hmm:

(didn't scream once, jumped a bit once in one of the poppin gout scenes)

 Let us know how that works out.

I've harbored a desire for years to record the howling from American Werewolf in London and play that over some loudspeakers pushed up to my window. Pity I live in a rural area though.

I thought it was boring to be honest, and i watched the japanese and hollywood versions of both that and the ring.

The japanese versions were slightly more psychologically stirring, but still nothing i would equate to being actually scary and to be honest im getting a bit bored of the old "japanese long dark haired ghost is coming to get you" type films.

Having said that i wake up to a southern long haired scary looking monster most days so maybe i have become hardened to the mental torture these films are supposed to incite. :D

That's what he meant by "most days"--the other 5.

I'm not sure. I decided to err on the side of the lame joke.
