what flavour?

Scabrous Birdseed
25-10-2004, 10:45:52
There's more than one flavour?

25-10-2004, 10:55:24
Could you give me prices for the mic stands, the rode, the sm57, 24 way patchbay, Alesis Quadroverb, guitar Pod and bass Pod please?

I'm mainly interested in the Rode.

Resource Consumer
25-10-2004, 11:12:18
it is an SM58 :)

I haven't really thought about prices - being an economist the price is whatever people are prepared to pay :)

25-10-2004, 11:19:00
I'll give you 50 for the rode, quadroverb and patchbay in that case. ;)

25-10-2004, 11:32:58
How much do you want for the Fender amp, and what model is it?

25-10-2004, 11:33:54

the Fender is a Pro Reverb - twin channel valve job - circa about 1982

26-10-2004, 00:09:14
Seriously though, how much for the rode, quadroverb and patchbay?

Or just the Rode?

Resource Consumer
26-10-2004, 09:51:22
OK. Let's see.

A new NT1 would be about 120 ex-vat - it is next to unused so how about 60
Quadraverb - difficult to say as they don't make them anymore (actually it was flash upgraded to a Quadraverb plus - more algorithms etc) - say 50

Patchbay - buy the other two and you can have for nothing

26-10-2004, 11:04:48
I pm'd you about the amp...

26-10-2004, 12:55:14
Hmm. Can you hold them for a month? I need to record a band and then I'll be purchasing them.

Resource Consumer
26-10-2004, 13:15:36
OK - they have your name on them :)

26-10-2004, 17:56:08
Yaaay! Thanks!

04-03-2005, 19:15:37
Okay, I think I'm going to change the gear I want. Probably the SM57, the rode, the stands and maybe the quadroverb and the mixer.

Can I have more details on the mixer?

04-03-2005, 19:19:53
Actually, I've looked into the mixer. It won't work with my system.

How much for all the mics, stands and reverb?

Well, we were sitting at $110 for the Q-V and the Rode.

If we round up to 200 then let's add in the AKG and the Shure, leads, and all the stands?

30-03-2005, 12:35:39
How about we drop the reverb and the leads and I only get one stand?

There's a possibility I might have no money now as someone is trying to screw with me. It's a long story.

Resource Consumer
30-03-2005, 13:35:35
So you still want all the mics?

30-03-2005, 14:36:09
Just the rode and the 58 I think.

Resource Consumer
31-03-2005, 09:02:45
OK, so you want just the Rode and Shure and one stand? Right? (sorry, I get confused easily)

31-03-2005, 10:44:49
Due to current circumstances, yes. Very low budget.

Resource Consumer
01-04-2005, 14:18:32
OK. We said 60 for the Rode before. You can have the Shure for 30 and the stand for nothing.

Resource Consumer
04-04-2005, 12:57:28
OK fine. I'll be a bit out of contact over this month as I am travelling quite a bit but I'll keep these to one side for you.

07-05-2005, 22:20:23
Right, how much for:

the rode
2 x mic stands

and can you give me rough prices on the

bass Pod
Roland R8M

danka. :)

Resource Consumer
11-05-2005, 13:37:28
OK. I'm back now and will have a think.

Resource Consumer
11-05-2005, 13:38:38
OK, thought. The first bit is a bit like we had before so you can have the 2 stands for nothing = 90.

How about 50 each for the other two.....

190 the lot.

11-05-2005, 13:40:15
I'll just go for the mics and stands I think.

What's the best way to do this? Where do you live etc?

Resource Consumer
12-05-2005, 10:26:09
West London so not terribly far from you on the motorway (and with no traffic). Probably best if you can co-ordinate with Debaser who still needs to pick up an amp from me.

I am around this weekend and am around most Sunday mornings.

12-05-2005, 12:00:06
We'll co-ordinate and try to arrange a lift from someone or something.

Resource Consumer
13-05-2005, 16:36:32
OK - I'll PM you my number if you need to liaise.....

It's actually Gareth who wants to buy the amp, and he drives...

13-05-2005, 16:49:40
It'd be really handy if he could buy it before next weekend. :)

13-05-2005, 16:53:42
We're using your amps next weekend I thought...

13-05-2005, 16:55:14
If we can't find any others we're using mine and Gareths. Nikhil's is in Bristol.

Nills Lagerbaak
13-05-2005, 16:57:12
Mine is technically in Reading, but I have no means of getting it to the Wedding

13-05-2005, 17:00:08
I should be getting the money before the 20th.

13-05-2005, 17:01:40
Oh is it? I assumed it wasn't.

We can get it to the wedding possibly. Sam's taking stuff in a van on Friday.

Ideally Sam'd prefer to use two smaller amps though for transport etc.

Nills Lagerbaak
13-05-2005, 17:09:42
Well, if it's a big barn it might be preferable to blow the roof off with the Yamahas.

13-05-2005, 17:10:15
It's just a total bitch to transport them.

Nills Lagerbaak
13-05-2005, 17:11:49
Yep! They need wheels and a solar powered engine. Wait a minute....
