apologies if i got some of the spelling wrong there

um this will most likely be of interest to one single poster, namely nils, but my cowie has just received the remastered enhanced version of this album, featuring not only all the tracks remastered but two bonus videos as well.

he says it's very good. i saw one of the videos and it was cheap and a bit crap. Good songs though.

Now that's what I'm talking about! This looks very exciting. Dunno how it campares to "wake up and smell the carcass" DVD, which is effectively a journey through the life of what had to be the wrolds greatest Grind/sludge-core band.
Necrotism.....is extreme, a whole album is a lot even for me.
Still I shall be checking this out (the version I have of this is a crappy tape somewhere)

Hmmm, the mental image created is probably the most grindcore thing I can imagine, but I suspect you didn't mean that. I also fear you are mistaken.
It's time you woke up and smelt the carcass my friend

Of course I meant that.

From listening to Descanting when I was at school I thought Carcass were terrifying, in fact I did until you played me that medly of their greatest hits album when we woke up in london that time and I realised they were a bunch of cheesy lightweight widdlers. But then I thought Pantera were insanely heavy too, now (post Korn) they are just pleasantly catchy riffmeisters.

They definitely toned it down after Necrotism.....and tools of the trade, but to be fair when you are already at 11, where else can you go?
