Please could you help me, as this has been really bugging me. There used to be an excellent game (on the C64 I think, or possibly the Amiga), I'm sure it was a "fade to black" style adventure game but there was a wicked bit clearly ripping of Temple of Doom where you have to ride along in a mine cart, jumping over bits of broken track.

Please help my ailing memory.

Thanks a lot

Thanks, but that's not it! The one I was thinking had the minecart bit only for one tiny section, and the rest was a very varied, intelligent adventure game. Not saying that manic miner wasn't......

it wasn't Another World was it, that was the first in that Fade to Black series of games.

I think Flashback is one of my favourite games ever.

No I know that one as well, that was superb!

This is highly frustrating....more ghouls and ghosts than flashback....hmmmm

No. Non-cartoon graphics.

I'm sure you could duck down in the mine cart to avoid being hurt, and maybe you had a break lever

Ho ho ho it clearly was not that, neither was it Rick Dangerous *sniggers at the shaker*

The mine-cart bit was just a tiny, tiny part of it.

Miner something 49er. It had slides. I vaguely remember a mine cart.

I vaguely remember something like that, but it was in the Indiana Jones game series.

That was a fun one - in the arcade, when you finished the carts Indy would jump out and say "We walk from here!"

Nills, was that the one?
