What do you listen to? Music that cheers you or gloomy music to fit the weather?

I'm listening to Nick Drake...fits both categories somehow

This week the weather's been mostly grey and overcast, and I've been enjoying Mr Roboto by Styx and the Lost in Translation soundtrack.

Grey and overcast is the norm here. I go for Tim Buckley in spring, Julian Cope in summer, Nick Drake in Autumn and American Music Club in winter.

Anime soundtracks or Dad-style power-ballads if it's proper raining, or the Verve if its just a bit grotty.

Can I copy the soundtrack off you? Is there any 4AD stuff on there?

Were My Bloody Valentine on 4AD? There's lots of them (and a couple of new Kevin Shields tracks), but mostly it's stuff like Air, the Chemical Brothers, and Death In Vegas. It's really good. I only have it as Mp3s, but if you want me to mail you some or burn you a CD you're more than welcome (though I'll have to stick Mr Roboto on there too...)

A cd would be awesome. The soundtrack was sooo good.
