Saw this (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0372183/) the other day and actually enjoyed it!

None of the usual CG crap and unbelievable and totally preposterous action scenes. A decent plot and great storyline plus a callous lack of regard for the safety of some of the main characters...

IIRC there is a third in the book series, so I will be looking forward to that.

8/10

It's a little rough at the beginning because you don't really know exactly who is who, but it's still a good movie.

I saw it over the weekend and definitely liked it. I agree with Venom about the shaky camera getting old after a while. All the quick cut scenes and NYPD Blue camera work are good for is to hide weak parts in plot or dialogue.

You don't need to see the first film in order to understand this one, so long as you know the very basic premise that the Matt Dillon character is an ex-CIA operative who has (somewhat selective) amnesia.

Yeah, I hobnob with so many famous people, I can't keep them all straight.
