Finally took the plunge and bought a decent digital camera. It's a 4 megapixel Olympus C-770 with 10x optical zoom. (its compact size, apart from the slightly deep lense)

Here are some photos I've taken over the past week that show it off.

330 ex VAT (I'm getting out of paying the vat!)

Those images are reduced to about 45% of their original size, they come out a whopping 2288x1712. :D

I've had the Olympus C-730 for almost two years now - doesn't 10x Optical Zoom rock!?:D

I'm fuming. The site I bought it off has just dropped the price by 45

Wish I took enough pictures to justify that quality of camera.

Hmmm what's 45 to a man of your means ?

A really good night out. :(

Well have no intention of returning it, lets hope that ebuyer don't call my bluff and refund the difference. :)

It's orange because either the sun went supernova or it's underexposed. I'm leaning towards the first option.

You could make some pictures of your penis using the macro mode. It wouldn't look too tiny I think

I use a Sony DSC-V1 now, but some of the features of my old casio QV2300UX were far more cool. I wish the Casio was faster :( It takes up to 20 seconds to get ready to shoot.
But ahh, you can do a lot of cool things quite quickly once it's ready

Oops. There is a resemblance.

Snapdragons are great at hiding honeybees.

I have these as snowmaidens? Probably just a difference in what people call things from one side of the pond to the other.

Anyhow, the main thing is that the camera is very cool.

probably, my mum is the authority on these kind of things. She even told me the latin name, but unfortunately it's slipped my mind! ;)

Whose distorted face is visible above the D in Amsterdam in Vinnie's picture?

You're going to tell me its Funko, and the picture isn't distorted, aren't you?
