I assumed that Oasis would be shite but watching them on telly this evening reminded me why I liked them so much when I was 17/18. I know they're old hat but they are great. :)

I'm not an Oasis fan (though Mrs Gimp is possibly their biggest fan) but Liam looked cooler than hell in the Lennon specs and long white Parka.

I just watched Muses set on BBC3. I've never really been a big Muse fan before. They've always seemed a bit over the top and dramatic, and a bit too "metal" I guess. But FUCKING HELL! Are they not the worlds tightest, most talented buch of motherfuckers? They were awesome.

Still wouldn't buy an album though.

My brother's in the VIP area this year (on Ronnie Scott's tickets- long story) and he says he has loads of stories to tell me, one of them about Kate Moss and Liam Gallagher...

he said he woke up one morning to find Vernon Kay in his tent..

and appallingly, our friend made a pass at Sadie Frost and got knocked back. He ain't no Jude Law.

I feel so bereft of British pop culture knowledge.

Don't even get me started on the whole emo thing. That's the biggest case of blanket discrimination since US slave labor.

I must be getting old. I listened to the music without bothering who was playing :o

What a novel concept.
Now, off with your head, emo-lover!!!
