I'm going to buy a "digital piano"/keyboard because I want to resume piano-things, and because my guitars are across the country and I'm getting bored.

Looking at this one: http://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/CDA/ContentDetail/ModelSeriesDetailPF/0,6603,CNTID%253D2258%2526CTID%253D205000,00.html

It's got midi in/out so you can use it on your PC and it's 5 octaves... looks OK. I don't know much about keyboards though.

Would be nice if it had weighted action and after touch though. it's nice to be able to select grand piano setting and really thrash the keyboard and have the volume reflect that :)

Ah, it hasn't got that? I didn't realise. Yes, I'd be looking for that in a keyboard.

Does that cost a lot more?

I'm tight right now with cash, due to the boyfriend flying in from Calgary to live with me starting on July 1st, and the unexpected $1000 in repair expense for Milton.

Is Milton your bf?
If so how did you break him?

And how did you fix him?

I think he's named his computer. Or his car. Or his cock.

Your computer is your boyfriend? I think we are getting into seriously dodgy territory now :nervous:

A computer is easier to turn on...
