What's New
* Extension Manager
* Theme Manager
* Data Migration/Import
* New Visual Theme
* Better Bookmarks
* Better Search
* Smaller Download
* Online Help

as well as tons of bugfixes and other smaller features.
WARNING: 0.9 made some major changes to the extensions and themes API, so old ones will not work (by default). Installing the new Firefox will disable (and hide) all your old themes and extensions. You must download new, 0.9-compliant themes and extensions. There is an extension that will allow you to show the old extension in the new Extension Manager, but they are likely to be unstable.

So far so good, although the extensions and themes links on the Firefox homepage refused to work for me for some reason.

It works for me if I go to Tools -> Extensions and click "Get more extensions". Ditto for Themes.

I like the new look. And I hope the Mozilla folks eventually split Mozilla into two apps. One of my biggest irritations with both Netscape 4 and the Mozilla milestones was the way that the newsreader could hold up the web browser, even on a fast connection.
