Just went to see it. It is exactly what you imagine it will be like only slightly better. A perfect cross between Spaced and any zombie movie you've ever seen.

It's weird coming out of the cinema after watching a zombie film, especially on a national holiday. The streets are deserted and the few people you do see you kind of eye them up to see if they are infected. Or at least I do.

I saw this yesterday. Protein summed it up pretty well. Excellent film, especially after a few 'jazz style' cigarettes.

I want to see this but not sure it's worth a ohmygodhowmuch? trip to the cinema.

Obviously I pulled some strings and got in for nothing.

It's worth it. It's not just a comedy, it ends up being a real film towards the end. They didn't cop out by just making it comedy all the way through. Some actual emotional bits too. :)

I hardly ever go to the cinema, no-one to go with. So I'll probably wait for it to come to DVD.

It was good but not great 7/10.

Definitely worth seeing though!:)

I think the thing I really appreciated about it was because it's my generation, my part of the world with jokes that only my generation would get.

I also appreciated it because it turns out that the first record Simon Pegg's character bought was the same as mine.

Actually there was one bit where some guy is on the phone while at work and he's using drug dealer codes to hide what he's talking about - badly. I laughed out loud and so did one other person on the other side of the packed cinema. Either we both have a terrible sense of humour or he was a no good druggie too. Or a bit of both.

[pedantic mode]I believe that in the film the record you're refering to is the second record Simon Pegg's character bought, not the first.[/pedantic mode]

Are you trying to say that I'm old?:p

Overall I think they did the film really well, it's just there were a few bits where it really dragged towards the end - though the end itself was brilliant!

I think my favourite bit was when he walked to the shops and back before they saw the girl in the garden...

Me too. It managed to capture Britain perfectly. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't notice that everyone was zombified for a while.

I spose. I only had it on tape and I think I might have had the a different one in the series too.

Watched the whole of the Spaced Series 2 yesterday. It's really good. Think I'm going to see this film next week.

Oh come on! Who doesn't find a bit of gore funny?! Everyone did a spectacular belly laugh when the girl got impaled in the garden

Yeah, SotD is funny, but Texas Chainsaw Masacre isn't!

I don't think it was the remake I saw, whatever was on C4 a while back

I saw it and it is very funny. Never seen TTCM but I heard from someone else that it's supposed to be pretty funny now.
