Having recently bought My first and last Palm books, I am now attempting to add them to my library.
Up until now the first link has always worked. Click on the image, and the book file opened.
Using the second, which due to the peculiarities of palm, all palm books are now kept in a seperate folder, the only response is that it wants to save the file.
IE at least gives the option to open also. Mozilla does not.
Is there something in mozilla that doesn't like pdb, or is it just a palm problem..

assistance would be appreciated.

try this at the beginning of the link instead.

'file:///C|/' ...

also you could try replacing spaces with %20.

If that doesnt work, maybe there are options in Mozilla to say what to do with certain file types...

Thanks Nav. Listing palm as a Mozilla helper application helped with a workaround, so now at least you are not asked to save the file.
But Palm in their infinite wisdom have decided that everone wants to use 'their' system, in as much as you must go to 'their' introduction page first, then use 'their' file browser window to choose the file you wish to read.

As I said..... First and Last Palm ebooks....
If I can't get it in another format, I don't buy it... Period.
