According to allmusic.com, someone called Adam Kasper produced Songs for The Deaf and the last two Foos albums. No idea about Mew.

He's got the #2, #3 and #4 albums of 2003 according to Kerrang. (The Darkness won it)

I don't like any of those albums. None that I know of anyway. I can't see why Dennis Lyxén would wanna work with him.

29-03-2004, 21:39:44
Stop the presses! SB hates something universally respected!

29-03-2004, 21:41:34
I'm shocked that Dennis Lyxén didn't ask Scabby for his opinion first!!!

What on that list is universally respected? Rage against the Machine, possibly. The other bands tend to get mediocre reviews, at least over here. (With a few exceptions- swedish reviewers truly and deeply hate Muse.)

29-03-2004, 21:50:43
I've always been fond of Cheap Trick.

Yeah, me too. I just noticed them on there now.

Things that are universally respected generally suck.

30-03-2004, 07:59:00
From my point of view, on that list aside from Rage, The Mars Volta, Jurrassic 5 and Mew are all absolutely top class bands.

30-03-2004, 12:37:36
The production on Rage is the sort of sound I'd like to be getting. The production on Mew is the sort of production I will probably never be able to achieve.

American head charge, American Head charge.

Oh shit, they're on the list as well.

Now that was a well-produced track for the genre.
