They were supposed to drive it to my house tonight. It's 11 p.m. and I'm starting to get nervous.

Holy crap. I'm an idiot..

Where's Nav to move threads when you need him?

Never mind; this was deliberate.

I'm actually designing a new game called "Where's the Bag". It's sort of like Where's Waldo except with a giant luggage carousel. The really fun part is that at the end you find out that the bag you're looking for wasn't actually anywhere on the page; it was 250 miles away at LaGuardia airport.

I've now been on hold with the baggage services department for 36 minutes.

40 minutes hold time

I've now been informed that my bags should arrive sometime between 4am and 6am.

What the fuck is wrong with people?

At least they know where your luggage is.

They totally lost my dad's luggage once.

No that was a real question. He just seems to randomly post it after something...

I've played this game before....rather tedious but the little bag of shampoo and tshirt and stuff was kind of fun

What, you got a free tshirt?

I got nothing. NOTHING.

Oh, except a little tag that said my bag had been inspected by the TSA and that there were no bombs in it. What a relief.

I hope they enjoyed finding my two boxes of condoms. Next time I'll leave some used ones in there.

Don't plan on getting your bag back in my experience. If you had anything worth any money that isn't electric or jewelry (the expensive shit they can lose and you can't do anything apparently) you can go to small claims court and they more often than not will rule it in your favor, though don't expect a massive amount of money. I'd imagine it's about the same in Canada.

Yeah..but it was an overseas flight. Got a Tshirt, boxers, toothbrush, hairbrush, soap, shampoo and a washcloth. All packed in a really nice little zippered case. :D
Qantas was very nice...good wines too, even back in steerage

I got it back this morning at 7:30

And given that I was flying on a US carrier into a US destination I'd probably have to deal with US laws.

Actually the Warsaw convention should apply as it does on all lost bags on planes - a great excuse for airlines to lose hundreds of quids worth of stuff and give you a fiver in compensation...
