I went to see Graham Coxon in Bristol earlier this evening. If I wasn't so lazy I might write a little review, but I am so here are some pretty pictures I took instead...

He was really good by the way.

Ah, I didn't know you were going to that.

Yeah, I got your text when I got in, but I figured it would be a bit late to play pool at about 1am this morning.

Hanging around with Rebus is a bad influence on you.

Sorry Mike, won't happen again.

They are in generic indy kid uniform 3.

Haha, generic indie kid uniform number 1 these days I believe (though cool pseudo-vintage t-shirts will allways be popular).

He had a 4 piece band, plus a keyboard player on two numbers, and every single member was wearing a stripy top of some description.

I used to wear Bretton shirts like that when I was a hippy teenager. I'd look mighty stupid in one now though. horizontal stripes aren't ver flattering for us rotund people.

And how did he sound?

Absolutely excellent. He'll never be the worlds greatest singer, but his voice is unique and suites the tweeness of the music really well, and he's a fucking amazing guitarist. When he was still in Blur my friend Alex witnessed him play the There's No Other Way solo perfectly while performing backward rolls across the stage.
