Sigur Ros - ()

At least I think that's its name. Hard to tell.

Cypress Hill - Black Sunday
Faust IV
Leftfield - Rhythm and Stealth
Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power
Pixies - Doolittle
Probot - Dave Grohl and Friends

Gotta love FOPP.

Faust? Didn't take you for a Krautrocker. Have you heard any Can?

I only bought it because it's been massively bigged up on Berkshire Live, I haven't heard it yet, only 5 though. :)

Thinking about it the last two times I've been in there I've bought a Pixies and Pantera CD. :hmm:

Faust are good- I'm a major Can fan though. There's an excellent "best of" collection of their earliest and best work called "Cannibalism 1". "Cannibalism 2" covers later work and isn't as good.

Cool. I'm listening now and liking it so far.

Probot is excellent. Dave Grohl just can't help making stuff catchy and melodic.

Can we have a full mini-review of the Probot album please. I quite like the idea of it, but I don't know if I'll actually like the music.

It's really good. Some tracks better than others. Each song is kind of tailored to the singer. So the Lemmy track sounds like motorhead etc. It's like a really good metal compilation but with a kind of underlying Dave Grohl niceness/melodiousness about it.

It has some copy protection that means you can't play it in computers though. GAY!

Doesn't it come with some sort of built in player though? Most CD with copy protection do.

I dunno, after >5 seconds of it not working I stuck it in my stereo. I'll investigate tonight.
