I'm pissed off.

A month ago my Landlord got a message from the, er, (complicated swedish legal term with no british/american equivalents deleted), saying that they were gonna upgrade the internet connection of the house and that he had to make a very minor change to his internet settings (change of IP address and DNS server basically) before Febraury 10th. He forgot this, so suddenly four days ago my internet connection crapped out.

After a couple of days I get the story out of him and immediately offer to make the very minor settings change in the router. He panics and says that only the conveniently on-sick-leave tech at his workplace can do it and that he's scared to give out his router password, apparently since he's projecting his own incompetence on everyone else. So I'm going nuts all weekend with no internet access, aargh.

I want to sabotage his technology in some way that isn't too obviously me. Any suggestions?

He's away for the weekend. I could make some sneaky changes to his PC.

Then do the classic one...go to the control panel, mouse and switch the mouse buttons...make left click right and so forth :D

Take a screenshot of his desktop, make that his background, delete all his desktop icons, and hide his taskbar.

Wait until he gets back and then stab him to death.

I did this to one of our ITD personnel here. They were quite confused.
