Although I have to admit to quite liking the 1959 one, Emile Ford's "What Do You Wanna Make Those Eyes At Me For". Cheesy but good, first successful black english single.

I think the four Beatles entries stand out, with We Can Work It Out the particular slab of genius... not sure after that, though worryingly I have a soft spot for "Stay Another Day"...
