I have decided to return to the Piano after a 6 year hiatus

I played (And took lessons) for about 11 years before that (goofed arround for a couple years so worthwhile learning years were a couple less)

I purchased a digital piano since they were more mobile and smaller

I purchased a new one because I like new things

I purchased one with fancy bells and whistles because, well, they seem so cool

anyways I purchased a Yamaha Electric Piano PF-1000 Sunday

I have played several hours since than, and almost have a page down on a couple of my recital peices (by down I don't mean good, I mean I almost have the notes right and the counts semi right and that I am working on the finer details)

here is a link about them http://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/CDA/ContentDetail/ModelSeriesDetail/0,6373,CNTID%253D2750%2526CTID%253D205900%2526VNM% 253DLIVE%2526AFLG%253DY%2526LGFL%253DN,00.html

What was irritating me:
# Superb 88-key Graded Hammer Effect keyboard

# Max. 96-note polyphony

You go to the site, you type in a long URL, it spits out a short URL. Relational database is my guess...

yah

I was having (last night) second thoughts about the 96-note polyphony as well (the cheaper version had max-128 note)

hopefully it will never cause problems

don't know what is wrong with the 88-key graded hammer effect keyboard

if the graded hammer effect keyboard is a weighted keyboard than I like it

my primary interest was something that approximated a piano as well as possible
