Tree Wave is a band based in Dallas Texas, created by Paul Slocum and Lauren Gray
The band uses unique instrumentation: the music is performed using obsolete......
computer equipment for instruments. Currently they are using a 1977 Atari 2600...
game console, a 1986 portable 286 PC, a 1983 Commodore 64 computer, and a 1985...
Epson dot matrix printer. The equipment runs custom music software written by....
Paul designed specifically for the band

Download some of the mp3s. It sounds amazing. They say they are more influenced by guitar bands than electronica.

Very interesting, a little like minimal music. Nice concept

I like the fact that each computer/printer is a synth in it's own right that you can play. Also that there is graphical output on the screens and printer.

A bit too trippy for my tastes. Also it brings back bad memories of errors long gone.
